We are increasingly dependant upon the internet because it is an easy way of finding information faster than researching in books and because it is an entertainment with the many types of games and websites to play on. A lot of people rather sit down and stare at a computer screen rather than seeing friends, playing sports or get the exercise they need. It’s not always good to depend on the internet for projects because the internet carries a lot of false information. The problem is that even though most of us already know that, we still depend on it anyway.

Not all countries around the world use and benefit from the internet. Most do but there are some countries that don’t even have computers. In North America, the internet is very popular but in parts of Asia it's not.
